David had been involved with the ENLP from the beginning and had attended the majority of ENLP seminars. Over the years of the programme, he helped participants with the research abstracts that they provided beforehand and his advice was always much appreciated.
In the words of Onno Korver, ‘He was the wise old guy who always had the right words to solve any issues or problems that arose. He was always sitting in the corner in the meeting room, did not speak often but when he did it was to the point and useful’.
David had struggled with was asthma for over 40 years and he had to skip a few (2 or 3) of the ENLP seminars because of his health. His wife Jean says he was ‘totally worn out after having asthma for 40 years’.
David’s funeral was only for the closest family and friends. There will be a memorial service at a later stage, probably within one or two months and his wife Jean will let us know. For those of who you wish to send Jean a note, her address is: Mrs Jean Southgate, 8 Penryn Close, Norwich NR4 7LY UK.
We extend our sincere sympathy to Jean and the rest of his family at this time.

Chair, ENLP Board
